Gentle winter fun

Alpe di Siusi/Seiser Alm isn’t just about skiing – it’s also a haven for peaceful winter experiences:

  • The idyllic winter landscape invites you to go on winter and snowshoe hikes through snow-covered forests. Here, you can experience the soothing silence, concentrate only on yourself and your breath, and maybe even follow the tracks of wild animals in the snow.
  • Looking for a bit more speed on the way back? Then we recommend a toboggan ride – or perhaps even a tobogganing race with your loved ones?
  • Alpe di Siusi/Seiser Alm is particularly popular with cross-country skiers. A whopping 80 kilometres of sun-drenched trails await you at an altitude of 1,800 and 2,200 metres above sea level amidst the Dolomites, with Mt Sassolungo/Langkofel, Mt Sassopiatto/Plattkofel, and Mt Sciliar/Schlern right before your eyes. The trails are double- or quadruple-tracked and excellently prepared for both classic and skating styles.
  • If you love reaching new heights, ski touring might be your thing. With more than 40 panoramic routes across Alpe di Siusi/Seiser Alm, there’s something for every level. A great option for beginners: the tour from Saltria to Mt Christspitze.
  • Do you like to do your pirouettes while ice skating? Or get your energy kick from an ice bath? Then Lake Fiè/Völser Weiher is just the right excursion destination for you.
