7 steps towards a green(er) future
If you’re travelling by electric car, several convenient charging stations are available (for a fee) right at Martina Breakfast Lodge. Please let us know in advance if you’d like to use the charging stations so we can reserve a spot for you. You can then activate the charger easily using your mobile phone.
Would you like to help us protect the environment? By opting for a sustainable arrival, you’re already making a big difference! Simply leave your car at home and travel by public transport. We’re happy to provide you with a Mobilcard for the free use of all public transport throughout South Tyrol before your arrival – just let us know in advance so we can send it to you in time.
Milk, eggs, jams, and more: Our hearty breakfast buffet features mainly local delicacies. They are always fresh and seasonal – and you can really taste the difference!
South Tyrolean expertise is our top priority in cleaning: Hygan, a local company near Kastelruth, produces all cleaning and care products using mostly biodegradable ingredients. By carefully dosing concentrated formulas, we minimise product use and reduce waste.
A photovoltaic system powers the hotel with sustainable solar energy, covering most of the daily electricity needs.
As part of our sustainability efforts, we encourage waste avoidance. Refill your bottle at the water dispenser to skip single-use plastic bottles. All waste at Martina Breakfast Lodge is carefully sorted, collected separately, and recycled. Please help us by separating your waste during your stay. Thank you!
